Allergan, Inc. has announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved LATISSE™ 0.03% as a novel treatment for hypotrichosis of the eyelashes. Eyelash hypotrichosis is another name for having inadequate or not enough eyelashes. LATISSE™ is the first and only science-based treatment approved by the FDA to enhance eyelash prominence as measured by increases in length, thickness and darkness of eyelashes.
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a purified proteinthat has the ability to decrease muscular activity.It is a simple, nonsurgical treatment that can temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the brows, horizontal furrows on the forehead (surprise lines), and crow's feet (squint lines) to the side of the eyes. It can also be used for lines that surround your lips, lines of either side of your nose, and bands or lines on your neck.
